"No Shipping to the UK"
Their website mentions a system upgrade that's been going on for at least three months, and they’re only shipping bikes to the UK. Not sure if this is related to Brexit since their other European sites are still trading. I used to really enjoy shopping here back in 2022; prices were way cheaper than in the UK, and there was a lot more variety available.

"Simple online shopping experience"
Shopping online was a breeze, and the prices were fantastic. The only minor issue I have with the company is the lack of good parcel tracking. I only got three updates, and there was no word on the delivery day.

"Awesome Deal"
Awesome deal, and they actually had small adult Cube bikes in stock (unlike a lot of UK retailers). The bike is Euro spec, so I had to switch the brakes by changing the cables on the handlebars.
The main problem was the lack of communication during the buying process. I sat around for 4 working days before my order got confirmed, and it was kinda strange that the first email I got from them was a cancellation form.
A minor issue was that the bike was not packed well, and the inner boxing rubbed against the cross bat stem, which messed up the paint job.
Hopefully, Bikester will sort this out and send me a touch-up paint pen to fix the damage (fingers crossed).

"Terrible experience"
To start off, I ended up paying twice and had to wait ages for my refund, which only came after I kept pestering them. Then, the bike showed up with a busted tire, and they only gave me back £12 along with a £20 voucher I didn’t even want. That’s just not enough for all the hassle they put me through. I wouldn’t suggest using Bikester.

"Nice bicycle"
Nice bicycle. It operates smoothly and the gears function properly; the brakes are solid as well. That said, the brakes do squeak even during casual rides, which can be annoying, but it's not a dealbreaker.

"Fantastic Business"
Fantastic business! I purchased the Ortler Montana 400 E bicycle. It was £500 less than the UK version. The communication from Bikester in Germany was top-notch. It took 15 working days to get here, just like they said it would. The bike is really well constructed and offers a super comfy ride.

"Bikester hit me with a double charge for a bike..."
Two months back, Bikester charged me twice for a bike and they still haven't sorted it out. I've been on their case for six weeks now. Their customer service is pretty useless, unable to explain why they can't correct their own mistake. It feels like they've taken 900EUR from me and refuse to return it. I’m done shopping here for good.

"My Fourth Buy in Four Years, Totally Recommend"
This is my fourth buy in four years, and I've snagged two of 'em for bikes (Ortler E-bikes). They’re a fantastic deal, and I’ve had no issues after riding over 2000 miles. My latest purchase was during Black Friday, and it took a month to get here, but it was packed well and the courier did a solid job. I knew there might be some hiccups with imports from Germany, and the delay could be customs-related (strikes and all that). Overall, I'm really happy, but the UPS tracking number? Yeah, that thing never works, so they should definitely fix that.

"Great bike, but took 2 months to get here"
Snagged a bike during the Black Friday sales at an awesome price. It took a whole 2 months to show up, which was pretty rough, especially with the holiday rush and strikes going on. But now that it’s finally here, I can’t complain. It’s fantastic value for what I paid, and I’m really pleased with it. Since it looks like smaller orders come in quicker, I’ll definitely be shopping with this retailer again. Overall, I’m quite satisfied! :)

"Awesome Bike, but Delivery Was a Letdown"
It took a whole month for the delivery instead of just a few days. I sent multiple emails and made calls, but got no helpful or accurate info about where my order was or any tracking details. When the bike finally showed up out of the blue, it came in a soaked cardboard box on a hefty wooden pallet that they just left there. The bike itself is great, but I can't really suggest using Bikester or the bike's surprisingly lacking user manual.

"Delivery Issues"
I placed my order on December 14th, expecting it to come via UPS. The tracking info shows that I haven't received anything. I reached out to customer service, and they said they'd look into it, but I haven't heard back since. I'll give it another week before I escalate this to my bank.

"Awesome service post-brexit and covid."
Bikester stands out as one of the few German shops that make online shopping in the UK a breeze after brexit. While delivery might take up to a week, it can sometimes be quicker. The delivery fee is £5 for orders under £100, but it’s free for those over that amount, which is pretty fair compared to most UK retailers. I've placed four orders in recent months and encountered a minor issue with one item (not on Bikester), but their customer service handled it without any hassle. Bikester has definitely climbed to the top of my go-to shops.
"Received a faulty item, tough return policy, poor support"
I got a faulty item and there was no return label in the box. Now I gotta print the return label myself, but I don’t have a printer and I’m stuck at home with corona, so I can’t go out to get it done. I reached out to customer service, explaining that I’m unsure when I’ll be well enough to print the label.
I asked if they could send me the return label directly, but they said no. I even requested someone to come pick up the faulty item, and again, the answer was no. I inquired about extending the return period since I can’t go out right now, but they still said no.
This company sends out faulty items and doesn’t seem to care about helping with returns.
