"Not shipping to the UK"
According to there website they having system upgrade, for at least 3 months and won't ship any items other than bikes to the UK, unsure if this to do with Brexit as their other European websites are open to trade. i use to loved shopping here in 2022, prices are alot more cheaper than the UK and have alot more on offer.

"Easy online purchase"
Easy online purchase, great prices. Only thing I can slightly fault company on is the poor parcel tracking. Only three updates and no communication on day of delivery.

"Great price"
Great price, and they had stock of small adult Cube bikes (unlike most UK suppliers).
Bike is Euro spec, so needed the brakes swapping via swapping the cables on the handlebars.

Main issue was a lack of order dialogue over the purchasing process. I waited 4 working days before order was confirmed, it was odd that the first mail from the supplier was a cancellation form.

Minor issue, was the bike was poorly packaged, and the boxing supplied inside the main boxing rubbed on the cross bat stem and damaged the paint work.

Ideally Bikester will pick this up and send me out a touch up paint pen to repair the damage (please).

"Very bad experience"
First - I doubled the payment and waiting very long time for refund, after a big chasing from me.
Second - the bike arrived with a damaged tire and they refund me only £12 and unwanted voucher of £20. That is too little for the inconvenience they caused me.
I don't recommend Bikester.

"Good bike"
Good bike
It runs smoothly and the gears work well, breaks are good too.
However the breaks squeak even when just riding it which is irritating but not important

"Excellent company"
Excellent company. Bought their Ortler Montana 400 E bike. Cheaper than UK equivalent by £500.
Communication from Bikester in Germany was first rate.
Took 15 working days to arrive as per their stated lead time.
The bike itself is very well made and a very comfortable ride.

"Highly recommended - easy to find item and great price"
The item was easy to find on the website and also at a very competitive price. Ordering and delivery were totally fine.
Item delivered in sensible packaging and arrived undamaged.

"Bikester double charged me for a bike…"
Bikester double charged me for a bike purchase two months ago and still hasn't fixed the issue. I have been chasing them for six weeks. Incompetent customer service who cannot tell me why they are unable to fix their own clerical error. They have essentially stolen 900EUR from me and will not give it back. I will never shop here again.

"Fourth puchase in as many years, recommend"
Fourth puchase in as many years, two of them for bikes (ortler E bikes) excellent value for money and no problems after 2000mls. Recent purchase, a black friday one, took a month to arrive but well packaged and good quality courier used. I was aware of difficulties getting imports from Germany, some delay could be due to customs (strikes). Overall v pleased but the UPS tracking number never works, needs looking into

"2 month delay, otherwise good"
Got a black Friday deal bike for a brilliant price.
Took 2 months to arrive. Really bad even considering Christmas delays and strikes, however now it's here I can't fault it. Fantastic value for money and I'm super happy. As it appears small orders arrive quickly as normal, I will find myself ordering from this retailer again. Overall happy enough :)

"Great Bike shame about delivery & information"
Delivery took 4 weeks not 4 days. Repeated Emails and calls provided no useful correct information regarding whereabouts or tracking.
When bike did arrive unannounced it was in a soggy wet cardboard box on a heavy wooden pallet that was also left behind.
Bike good but could not recommend Bikester or the bike's surprisingly poor user guide

"No delivery"
Ordered on the 14th dec and delivery would be ups. Tracking order states no item ever received. Emailed customer service and told they would investigate and no further update has been given. Will wait another week and complain to bank.

"Great service even following brexit/covid."
Bikester are one of the last German based shops that make it hassle free following brexit when shopping in the UK. Delivery can take up to a week but is sometimes faster. Delivery is £5 under a £100 spend or free over is just as reasonable as most UK shops. I put 4 orders in the last few months and had a slight issue with one product (not bikester’s fault) but customer service sorted it no problem. Bikester have move right up the top end of my list of shops to buy from.

"Sent defective product, non flexible return policy, bad customer service"
I received a defective product and the return label is not included in the package. I have to print the return label by myself but unfortunately I don't have a printer and I got corona so I can't go out to print. I told the customer service that I really don't know when I will recover so I can go out to print the return label.

I asked them if they can send the return label to me, the answer is no. I asked them to send a person to pick up the defective product, the answer is no. I asked them to make sure that there is no 30 day limit return deadline for and I will return the defective right after I can go out, the answer is still no.

This company sent defective products to customers and doesn't even try to help with the return.
